Estate wines with an identity rooted in this place

It is said that great wines begin in the vineyard. A great vineyard begins with The Land. The wines of the Kiani Preserve contain the true essence of their origin. Vintage to vintage, the character and integrity of the wines honor the land from which they are grown.

Viticulture

There exists a profound connection between the earth, the vine, and the fruit that is cultivated here.

A Vow to Sustain

The Kiani Preserve is precisely that. A preservation of all forms of life on this land, from the soil, the plants, the animals – both wild and tame – and ourselves. Farmed organically since the beginning, we follow our own rigorous set of moral principles, prioritizing nature’s problem solving methods over industry-accepted norms.

Connection is the most essential tool

By steadfastly relying on intuition and continuously drawing inspiration from The Land, decisions are always best made in the vineyard and winery when my full spectrum of senses are considered. Ultimately it is an intrinsic connection to the spirit of the Kiani Preserve that allows me to make wines that exude the character of this distinct and exceptional place.
